Search tips

Both the channel list and the networks list do more than a plain name filter - you can search by content and size. Each list also has a ? next to its search box with the same cheat-sheet.

Channels

On the channel list, a few examples:

• topic:python or topic:"code of conduct" - search the topic
• network:libera - a specific network
• min:50 max:5 users:100..500 - by current size
• peak:1000.. - channels that were ever big, even if quiet now
• #lin* - wildcards on the name

Networks

The networks list filters the same way, on network-level numbers:

• min:1000 max:50 users:100..500 - by current users
• channels:>5000 - by channel count
• servers:>10 - by linked servers
• peak:10000.. - networks that were ever big

These combine freely - stack as many filters as you like in one search, alongside a plain name or wildcard.
