erkstats is a small, independent project that keeps an eye on the IRC world - free to use, no ads in your face, no accounts, no tracking. If it is handy to you, you can chip in to help keep it online.

Where it goes
Running erkstats costs a little every month: the servers and hosting for the collectors that poll IRC networks around the clock, the database that keeps years of history, and the domains. Tips help cover that and keep the site independent - free for everyone, with no ads worth the name and nothing behind a paywall.
What your support is not paying for
erkstats only ever records aggregate user and channel counts - never the content of anyone's messages during a network sweep. The collector connects as a single, well-behaved, read-only client, and its code is open. Supporting the project does not change any of that; it just keeps the lights on. Your tip is a thank-you, not a subscription, and nothing here is ever gated behind it.
